This Week's Latest Shopping News and Tips-12/29/2013

Good Morning everyone,
It's that time again; time for this week's latest shopping news and tips. This holiday season was hit with a few kinks; from bad storms and weather, to UPS shipping delays, which put a damper on gift delivery being on-time.

Still, shoppers are at it again. Post-holiday sales and returns are up.

Stores are using deep discounts and extending their hours to get shoppers back into the stores. I have to tell you, actually; the post-holiday deals are better than the pre-holiday ones. Why? Because, the retailers are trying to clear their stock for the next year. They will offer anywhere from 50 to 75% off, in some cases.
Many people say that they shop after the holidays, just for this reason.
